Week 3 EOC: Ethics in Tobacco HOW TO FRAME A SCENARIO

1. Determine the scenario: What happens in this frame?
Many people are smoking cigarettes and shortening their lives. So this advertisement is to cut down the number of people who smokes cigarettes.  Cigarettes in the tobacco industry are questioned about their ethics and if they help or don not help people.

2. What is the setting? What are the conditions? 
The setting is very serious and comes off intense.  The conditions 

3. Who are the people or groups? 
The people would be young adults and people who already smoke.

4. What is their point of view around this specific experience? 
Cigarettes are bad for people and will have their lives shortened even more if they smoke cigarettes. 

5. What are their goals? 
Their goals are to get people to stop smoking cigarettes and prove to others that cigarettes are bad. 

6. What are their assumptions? What are their perceptions? 
The assumptions would be that cigarettes are bad and unhealthy. The perceptions would be that they are a health hazard.

7. Are there conflicts? Is there cooperation? 
Yes, because cigarettes are not all bad. They do help in some aspects but the chemicals are unhealthy for the human body.

8. What are the outcomes?
 That less people will smoke cigarettes and if the people do not stop smoking their lives will just be even more shortened.
